It’s less than a month until the annual Game & Wildlife Conservation Trust Macnab Ball, London – a glittering evening of cocktails, canapés, auctions, dinner and dancing.
Now in its 38th year, this black tie event will take place at The Dorchester, London on Wednesday 22nd November. With sponsors ranging from Hunter Boots to Hull Cartridge, and a committee including GunsOnPeg’s Chris Horne, Purdey’s Simon Rood and Shooting Times’ Patrick Galbraith, it’s set to be better than ever.
What’s more, this brilliant evening is held with the chief aim of boosting the British countryside – a goal that we at Wingfield Digby wholeheartedly support.

Through scientific research, the Game and Wildlife Conservation Trust (GWCT) develops practical solutions for conserving the countryside through proactive and positive management. Research is carried out on a variety of different areas including uplands, lowland/woodland, woodcock, farmland and agriculture, fishing and education. Contrary to popular belief, GWCT research stretches far further than game conversation. It helps protect the beauty of the English countryside, the output of the its farmland; the quality of its moorland; welfare of bees, birds, butterflies.. The list goes on!
Tickets and a few tables are still available. For details, please contact GWCT’s London Event Manager Josephine Langer (jlanger@gwct.org.uk : 0207 290 011)
